Appointments

If you would like to make appointment, please contact me via telephone. During our initial conversation, you can expect an initial screening to ensure that my services are appropriate for your needs. At that time, I will also provide you with more information about the programs or services that interest you.

The first session is typically dedicated to reviewing paperwork and discussing your history and current concerns. I believe that therapy is an interactive effort toward a goal of empowering you to make important, personal changes. The focus of treatment is to help you to create whole health, which is health of not only the mind, but of the body and spirit as well.

Sessions are usually scheduled once a week, for 50-60 minutes. If you need to cancel or change an appointment, please provide at least 24-hours notice to avoid a cancellation fee. Evening appointments are available.

Concerns or Questions

It is important to make an informed decision about your treatment. If you ever have a question or concern, please do not hesitate to let me know.

Confidentiality

I will make every effort to ensure your privacy and confidentiality. I will not release your information without your written permission. However, there are some limitations to your privacy:

1. If I learn about abuse of a child or disabled adult, I am required by law to report the abuse to proper authorities.

2. If there is reason to believe that a client is in danger of harming themselves or someone else (suicidal or homicidal), I will disclose information to help protect that person from harm.

3. If I am ordered by a court to release information.

4. If a client is under 18, there may be some limits to the confidentiality of treatment with regards to parents or legal guardians.

If I feel that I must breach confidentiality, I will make every effort to notify you before doing so.
